Images and poses
Generate still poses of your mascot from a prompt. Each image costs 1 credit and comes with a transparent version.
Generate an image
Send type: "image" with an item name and an image_prompt. It creates a new item with pending image and transparent_image assets.
curl -X POST https://api.masko.ai/v1/mascots/MASCOT_ID/generate \
-H "Authorization: Bearer masko_YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"type": "image",
"name": "Waving hello",
"image_prompt": "waving hello with a friendly smile, one arm raised"
}'Edit an image
Send type: "edit" with source_image_asset_id and edit_instructions, for 1 credit. The edit adds new assets to the same item.
curl -X POST https://api.masko.ai/v1/mascots/MASCOT_ID/generate \
-H "Authorization: Bearer masko_YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"type": "edit",
"item_id": "b3bbee96-0599-5ca2-ab23-e7b157f50091",
"source_image_asset_id": "3c8ce568-35ce-59c2-b3f8-9fb7e4a16e52",
"edit_instructions": "Add a party hat and confetti falling around"
}'Regenerate
Send the same item_id with a new image_prompt. Each run adds new assets to the item; nothing is overwritten.
curl -X POST https://api.masko.ai/v1/mascots/MASCOT_ID/generate \
-H "Authorization: Bearer masko_YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"type": "image",
"item_id": "b3bbee96-0599-5ca2-ab23-e7b157f50091",
"image_prompt": "waving hello with both arms raised high"
}'Style consistency
Two things keep the mascot consistent, with no setup:
- Reference images: up to 6, sent as visual context with every generation. Add them with the references endpoint.
- Style card: traits such as color palette, proportions and design style, extracted from the references on the first generation and added to every prompt. It is rebuilt when references change.
Image or animation
Use images for static poses: profile pictures, thumbnails and marketing assets. Use animations for movement: idle loops, transitions, reactions and interactive behavior. They take longer and start at 4 credits for 2 seconds of Standard from an existing image.
